How To: DIY Natural Eye Make-Up Remover / Organic Skincare

Hi, everyone, it's Chitresh from Health Urgency today. I'm going to show you a really easy all-natural eye makeup remover that you can make in your kitchen.

So for this recipe you're going to need some witch hazel which easily you can pretty much find at any natural health food store like Whole Foods or nature's and Graham, I think some grocery stores are starting to carry them but they're still not in also a health food store you can find these at a second ingredient oh this is only a two-ingredient I makeup remover the second ingredient is olive oil um preferably extra virgin organic if you can if it is going on your skin same thing if you're eating it you would want organic so remember what you put.

On your skin it goes like a gets absorbed inside you it's the same thing as eating it um it's pretty much third thing is you're going to need a container now add this is about a hundred mill container. I already pre-made mine I've been using it so I just thought I'd show you guys how to use how to do it so pretty much I'm going to open that up this one here if you can see it has like a little top like you have to pop it off and sometimes these reasonable ones are a little tough but you can pop that off and that might actually just be able to pour. The olive oil right in so pretty much and you want equal ratios of each ingredient so great thing is olive oil and witch hazel they do not mix right away so it's really easy to measure it up so pretty much you are going to take your olive oil and you're gonna pour.

It about halfway point okay it all boils up obviously up right now but when I first bought it it was down here um next you're going to take your witch hazel this stuff is amazing it is anti-inflammatory it's great for acne-prone skin eczema it will also help with puffy eyes which is great because we're using this for your eyes and just help tighten the pores and skin overall really great as a toner as well it's what I normally use it for and it's really good removing excess oil and dirt.

So that's why we're doing it with the olive oil because if you're just to use olive oil and its own it would end up with an oily mess mixing it with the witch hazel allows the witch hazel to clean it off without that sticky oily residue on your skin so next, we're gonna take the which it is oh and you're just gonna pour it in and you're just going to do it you know pretty much you can measure. It from where the olive oil does the same amount you know use a finger to measure it I mean if you're doing a full container you can just do half and a half this is really easy in this vial of two small containers also - they don't have is it's all natural they don't have like the longest shelf like my normally lasts about two months until. I want him to make a fresh batch I'm sure it lasts longer neither witch hazel or all will have a short expiry date I don't even see and expired it on here although.

I have had them expire so after a few months so just like get small bottles at the witch hazel olive oil you probably have in your kitchen already and just make small batches that we need like it's always fresh and you're always putting a fresh. I mean remember on your skin and it's also great for traveling. I can just like tighten that up and take it to go um so the reason why I started doing natural eye makeup remover it's does things like you know I'm not dissing the brand or anything.

I just have a Lancome I haven't even opened this my mom got it from a client and I can't use stuff like this it irritates my eyes I have I wear contacts and I find if I use if I leave my makeup on overnight like you sleep in it or I use you know store-bought I makeup remover with chemicals like this has OH like.

I don't know probably 20 or 30 ingredients you alcohol perfume/fragrance and perfume can mean you know the whole whack of chemicals. When they say that and it just I mean I don't know how to pronounce a lot of these and that's just something I don't want to put on my eye this does the same thing you can see most I make move removers do an oil base and then a note oil base ingredient that way you can shake it up and mix the two and one will help remove just like the witch hazel helps move the oil the olive oil blend will help remove that it's pretty much this one when you're ready to use shake it up and it kind of looks a little yellowy.

So there you go and you're literally gonna just take have a cotton pad here take the lid off and you're just gonna take a little bit like so you don't need a lot and you can see how much product you're putting because it's colored sometimes with the clear stuff like this you know I over pour and I don't really know how much I put in it so there's some a little bit like that and then if you have waterproof mascara this will take it off don't worry you just hold it on your own for a couple seconds you know maybe 15 seconds then you slowly rub it and honestly it will take your eyeshadow your primer if you have no eyebrow pencil anything under-eye concealer it will take it off doesn't burn your eye it doesn't you know well there irritate at all and I don't use it as a general face makeup remover just a really oily skin and I wouldn't put a quail on my skin.

But I mean if you have really dry skin you could definitely use this on your elbows your feet I used sometimes on my hands you know if I'm making it and a little bit extra I just put all my hands um definitely do that if you just want like a little spot treatment you definitely just take a q-tip put it on and just like fix you know if you get a little bit around your eye that's cool too um yeah so I mean olive oil is great has vitamins A C and E it also contains vitamin K which helps them reduce dark circles so that's great so I try these two together not only are they super-cheap it's like compared to it not actually sure how much this one is cuz my mom just got it um as a gift but I know just regular eye makeup removers fine you know regular drugstore can go from anywhere from ten to fifteen dollars are just for drugstore brands.

So this one you know could be anywhere from twenty to twenty-five Ritchie's and olive oil like I bought this one for just under seven bucks which is a little expensive because I could get a one double the size for seven bucks or eight it's just I ran out and I needed it, so I got it at a smaller store olive oil I mean you literally just get it in the like in a huge containment which that's what my family does and just put it in the local container or when you need to use it Kazuma looks a huge container around.

I got some of my hammers to rub it in anyways it is so cheap. I haven't actually calculated how much it would be for each one but I would probably say no more than a dollar fifty like this is super cheap so I mean if I was using this one okay maybe two or three bucks but if I'm dating the bigger one it is super inexpensive it will last a long time. I mean this one about three weeks ago and like. I heard used any of it and they said every night even if I don't write even a lot. I make up the river or a lot of I make up. I just use it to take off mascara and it works really great. I can do it in the shower or wherever so let me know what you think to try to leave me your comments and feedback below I'd love to hear your thoughts on this product and yeah even if you're not into like the all-natural products this is I mean just for your budget saving is that one reason to use it so thanks for watching and I look forward to seeing you guys soon bye.
